How to make molten mocha cake

To make a delicious molten mocha cake, you will need the following ingredients:

– 1/2 cup of unsalted butter

– 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips

– 1 teaspoon of instant coffee granules

– 1/2 cup of powdered sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1 large egg yolk

– 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour

– 1/4 teaspoon of salt

Here are the steps to make molten mocha cake:

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease four small ramekins with butter.

2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate chips together in the microwave in 30-second intervals, until smooth and combined.

3. Dissolve the instant coffee granules in 1 tablespoon of hot water, then stir into the melted chocolate mixture.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, eggs, and egg yolk until well combined.

5. Slowly pour the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring continuously.

6. Sift in the flour and salt, and gently fold everything together until just combined.

7. Divide the batter evenly among the four prepared ramekins.

8. Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft and gooey.
